1. Data controller

Mendoza Salcedo Consultores (the "Firm"), with address at Lope de Vega No. 26, Col. Arcos Vallarta, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, is responsible for the processing of the personal data you provide, under the Mexican Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties currently in force (the "Law") and its regulations.

2. Personal data we collect

The Firm may collect: (a) identification and contact data — name, phone number and email — provided through our forms, virtual assistant, WhatsApp, email or scheduling tool; (b) information regarding the legal or tax matter you voluntarily share for its assessment; and (c) billing data, where applicable. The Firm does not request sensitive personal data through this website; please refrain from sharing information that is not necessary for the initial assessment of your matter.

3. Purposes of processing

Primary purposes: responding to your inquiry; scheduling assessment calls; rendering the professional services engaged, where applicable; running conflict-of-interest checks; and complying with applicable legal, tax and professional obligations.

Secondary purposes: sending the guides or materials you request, and sending the Firm's legal and tax analyses or newsletters. You may opt out of secondary purposes at any time by writing to the email address indicated in section 6, without affecting the handling of your matter.

4. Data transfers

Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties without your consent, except in the cases provided by the Law (including requests from competent authorities). The Firm relies on service providers acting on its behalf — such as web hosting, scheduling and email services — which are required to process your data in accordance with this notice.

5. Confidentiality and attorney-client privilege

In addition to the obligations under the Law, information relating to our clients' matters is protected by professional secrecy under the legislation applicable to the practice of law in Mexico.

6. Your rights (ARCO) and withdrawal of consent

You are entitled to access, rectify and cancel your personal data, and to object to its processing (ARCO rights), as well as to withdraw your consent and to limit the use or disclosure of your data. To exercise these rights, send a request to contacto@mendozasalcedo.com.mx including your full name, a means of receiving our response, documentation evidencing your identity or legal representation, and a clear description of the data concerned. The Firm will respond within the terms provided by the Law.

7. Cookies

This website uses technical and functional cookies, first- and third-party (for example, for online scheduling and web fonts), necessary for its proper operation. You may disable them in your browser settings; some features of the site may be affected.

8. Changes to this notice

The Firm may amend this privacy notice at any time to reflect legislative developments or internal policies. Any amendment will be published on this page, indicating the date of its last update.
